JMU and TCC Fine and Performing Arts College Fair
From April 26, 2014 until April 26, 2014
Saturday, April 26 from 10 AM until 2 PM
Join us for a special arts fair for visual and performing arts students in Hampton Roads and on the Peninsula!
Tidewater Community College with James Madison University will host a regional Visual and Performing Arts College Fair at the historic TCC Roper Performing Arts Center in Norfolk, Virginia.
Activities will take place in various areas of the TCC Roper Center. These will include: informational sessions and displays; mock interviews and auditions; and portfolio reviews, as well as the opportunity to meet with faculty and staff from both institutions. Paul D. Camp Community College and Thomas Nelson Community College will also be represented. All will be on hand to answer specific questions about their respective programs and classes, and to provide related literature.
James Madison University informational sessions will cover a variety of topics including: studying graphic design, interior architecture, and art history; becoming a studio art major; preparing for music, dance, and theatre auditions; and career opportunities. Mock auditions and portfolio reviews will be conducted on a first come, first served basis. For this reason, it is suggested that attendees arrive early and sign in.
The event is free and open to high school and college-age students with interest in the visual and performing arts.
